ICF Challenge #1: Anchor Bolts
Anchor bolts are often used to connect structural members to the concrete core of an ICF building. In this real world photo the bolt has been placed in the opening before the pour and covered with temporary forming but the correct bolt location at the center of the opening has been lost. The bolt now has very little strength. Layout in the attached member will be difficult if possible at all. This is hard to avoid without careful layout. A moisture barrier must also now be added between the concrete and the attached structural member.
A Better Way: Anchor Seal
With Anchor Seal you stay on layout every time.
And your moisture barrier is already in place.
The centered sealing structure accurately locates and seals to 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" anchor bolts.
